Painter & Graphic Illustrator based in Québec City

Ideology & Background

Being an artist is something that one is born to do and not learned in school. Personally, I never studied art in school. I actually obtained a law bachelor's degree and a Master's degree at Université Laval in Québec City. After working as a lawyer for a year and going through some health issues, I decided to explore my artistic side by drawing again and starting to paint.

Influences & Tools

My influences are Rubber hose animation from the 1920s, cartoons, anime, comics, street art and some artist like Ten Hundred (Peter Robinson).

Digital Art

I use an Huion tablet for some years with the program Krita, but I recently updated my drawing setup for an Ipad Pro and Procreate. I specialize in colorful, bubbly monsters with big eyes and big mouths.

Paintings

I work primarily in acrylic and I currently work from my house (RIP the floors). I mainly do acrylic pouring using different technics and a lot of recycled material.
